Safer Space Principles

We do not discriminate against anyone

We strive to ensure that we do not offend or belittle anyone through our choice of words or actions.

We avoid prejudices and stereotypes

We do not make assumptions about anyone’s ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, gender, religion, socioeconomic background, health, or functional ability. We let people be themselves.

We give each other space

We respect each other’s personal space and give space to each other’s opinions and contributions.

We are open to feedback

It is okay to ask questions and make mistakes. We apologize if we unintentionally offend someone.

We address inappropriate behavior

If we notice discrimination, harassment, or other inappropriate behavior, we will intervene.

What should I do if I notice inappropriate behavior?

If you notice inappropriate or disruptive behavior during the conference, please contact the staff at the registration/information desk, or any member of the CAGR organising team.

If you have experienced discrimination or harassment, you can also contact cagrconference@gmail.com
