The registration for the Current Advances in Gambling Research Conference 2026 is now open!

To register for the conference, please complete the online registration form HERE.

Registration Fees

  • Regular 200 €
  • Member of The Academic Forum for the Study of Gambling (AFSG) 100 €
  • Clinician 100 €
  • Student 45 €
  • Unwaged 45 €
  • Person with lived-experience 45 €

If you choose the student fee, please take your student ID with you when you arrive at the conference. Members of AFSG pay a reduced fee, joining is free of charge.

The conference fee includes registration, coffee breaks and lunches on 28-29 May, and evening program on 28 May. Registration for the evening program will take place separately.

In addition to the conference days, you can register to pre-conference workshops held on 27 May. You will find more information on the registration form.

Payment of Registration Fees

Online payment:

o The following payment methods are accepted: Credit cards Visa and MasterCard (no prepaid cards) and Google Pay.

o Connection is secure between the registration system and the payment service provider during the online payments.

o Registration and other reservations will be confirmed only once a full payment has been received.

Invoice payment:

o Invoicing fee EUR 19 will be added to all invoices.

o The invoice reference number must show as identification on bank transactions. The invoice will include all necessary international bank information for the bank transfer. All bank charges should be covered by the payer.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing by email to cagr2026@confedent.fi.

Full refund (less EUR 45 administration fee) for cancellations received by or on 14.5.2026.

No refunds can be made for cancellations received after 14.5.2026. There will be no refund for no-shows. Denial of a visa application to Finland does not entitle a participant to any refunds.

The conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to participants, either during or as a result of the conference. The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind so please check the validity and coverage of your own travel insurance.

The organisers do not take responsibility for force majeure reasons for cancellation of the event (natural disaster, outbreak of severe contagious epidemic, major strikes etc.). In such a case, the organising committee reserves the right to decide about refunding of paid registration fees.
